ZIMMER ATS 4000

The Zimmer ATS 4000 is a tourniquet system that is used to temporarily occlude blood flow in the patient’s extremities during a surgical procedure. The ATS 4000 was designed to offer individual levels of pressure for each patient. Delivering a variety of pressures at specific times and for specific limbs. The Zimmer ATS 4000 offers a dual cuff that can prevent accidental cuff release with an automatic IVRA Cuff Lock – making sure deflating is intended on the second cuff. Zimmer offers lower tourniquet pressure to help minimize the risk of nerve-related injuries and less post-op pain.

  • Personalized Pressure Technology
  • Touchscreen User Interface
  • 8.4″ Color Display
  • Self-check Calibration: automatically checks the accuracy of the machine calibration each time the unit is powered on. This saves setup time.
  • Cuff Alert: alerts user of cuff status when attempt is made to set the machine to stand-by.
  • Cuff Lockout: feature prompts the user to confirm the deflation command during bilateral or IVRA procedures in order to reduce complications due to sudden cuff deflation.
  • Six-hour Lithium Ion Battery Backup: maintains pressure if AC power is temporarily lost.
  • Color-Coded Cuffs: from 8 inches to 42 inches accommodate virtually all patients and limbs.
  • Carrying Handle: makes the system easy to transport, and includes pull-out hangers for storage of cuffs and hoses. The lightweight, portable unit can be mounted on an IV pole or placed on a table.
  • Innovative Limb Occlusion Pressure (LOP) feature
  • Uses ambient air
  • Uses electronic and microprocessor regulated pressure
  • Dual Port, Dual Cuff system: for simultaneous use of two dual port cuffs each with offering independent pressure and time regulation
  • Facilitates dual port, dual bladder cuff usage for IVRA/Bier Block procedures
  • Uses dedicated ports for supplying and measuring pressure which allows for fast and precise pressure regulations
  • Visual and audible alarms activated when an unsafe condition is detected

Limb Occlusion Pressure (LOP)

  • Technology that’s designed to calculate a patient’s pressure at an individual level and apply a minimum amount of tourniquet pressure needed to occlude a limb at a specific time for a specific patient. Lower tourniquet cuff pressure reduces postoperative wound complications after TKA.

Touch Screen

  • An 8.4” color touchscreen that increases visibility to read across operating rooms.
  • Other great features including a 6 hour lithium Ion battery and dual ports

Advanced Leak Detection

  • Technology that monitors a cuff for minor variations intraoperatively with the intention of reporting potential cuff/hose leaks.

Pre-op Cuff Test

  • Technology that allows for bedside testing of cuff pre-operatively to ensure proper function
